Hi, I am Isabela DuBois.
I am a full-time mom and photographer. I've had a passionate interest in photography since I was a little girl watching my mother take photos with her Nikon film camera and going with her to get them developed at our local pharmacy (the suspense... ah!). Learning from her and through trial and error with film, my love for photography bloomed.
My interest only continued to grow as a pre-teen when I got my first point-and-shoot camera and later as a high school student when I started shooting with a DSLR. Over the next 15+ years, I deepened my knowledge and gained years of experience in the craft. I still shoot film, but now I primarily shoot with my favorite mirrorless camera, the Canon R6.
Landscape, nature, wildlife and travel have been my longtime favorite subjects to photograph. However in the last few years, I've come to cherish capturing love, family and the simple joys of ordinary life. I photograph weddings as an associate shooter in and around Alabama and beyond, and I capture families in every season of life. All love is love in my eyes, and everyone deserves to have beautiful, timeless images to look back on for generations to come.
I am based in Birmingham, Alabama where I live with my husband Brandon and our two daughters, Emilia and Noelle.
